The Hilton Checkers did not disappoint! We drove up from the Temecula area for a concert weekend and it was such a great location. Right in the heart of everything. There is a rooftop area (closed, due to COVID...I think) but we went up at night and chilled and watched the city. The only negative is no parking, you have to pay to park at a parking garage across the street. Funny story, we drove cross country 15 years ago and stayed at the same hotel and realized it half way through our stay. The Hilton was still GREAT!!! Loved the old building charm.

Milton was the best part of our stay. Only reason I rate it well. The shower was messed up spewing everywhere there was a bottle of liquor left in the room and makeup stains on the sheets. I bring my own blankets so I didn’t bother complaining. Hotel and roof were awesome but Milton made sure we got our bags in and out safely as well as the fastest valet we ever had! He recommended some good la spots and was very friendly. Karol helped us find the best room for us and had great customer service as well.

Stay here for 1 night. Room was very nice. 10th floor looking out at the city. The only problem we had was the bed. If you look at the mattress it had a dip in it. Did not know this until we went to bed at night. Went to a concert in the area so it was late when we went to sleep so that's when we realized the dip in the mattress. So we had a uncomfortable sleep. And I just remembered the windows were pretty dirty. Room 1005

This place was perfect for what we had needed for our trip. Location was amazing because we were attending a convention nearby. The staff was very helpful, and for what we paid, everything was perfect.

Stephanie

Good location, 10 min walking distance to Grand Central market, a lot of restaurants, shops, supermarkets nearby. Close to metro station. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.
